I've used Stitcher for non-Earwolf stuff for years and have never grown any more fond of it. Not that Howl is the greatest app or anything, but it's at least pretty easy.

I'm really confused about that. I've been a Howl.FM subscriber for a couple of years now but it seems like it's getting phased out in favor of Stitcher Premium. Which is fine if my Howl subscription just transfers over, but I'm gonna be bugged if I eventually need to switch and pay more.

I enjoy Armen in certain contexts, especially his I4H appearances, but any time I recommend Another Period to someone I feel like I need to include a caveat of "Just push through the guy who plays Garfield. It's possible you'll come around to him."

One of my favorite moments from the late, lamented Wits was when Maron guested and they closed the episode with a sing-along of "The Weight." The sheer, unbridled joy in Maron's voice at getting to sing a Band song in front of a theater full of people was lovely in its dissonance.

For Hilarious World of Depression fans, I did a brief interview with John Moe about the show for my local glossy: http://www.minnesotamonthly…

Very much hope Sean and Hayes show up on every one of those Seeso shows next season. What does anyone have to lose?

And all pulled off in front of a live audience to boot.

Dan Deacon feeds Besser's energy so perfectly. Horatio Sanz as a snack-crazy Lou Reed is exactly what I needed in my life.

I was just coming here to post my own endorsement of Johnny Cool. It's a wonderfully nasty bit of work and Montgomery as the bored rich kid who flirts with the fast life and gets in over her head is the best thing about it. In a cast including Henry Silva, Telly Savalas, Jim Backus, and Sammy Davis Jr, that's

Why does Maple Leaf, the largest Guardian, not simply eat the other 29?

The only time I watched it I was in the grips of a high fever and wound up hallucinating about Klaus Kinski all night, so my take may be skewed. But I recall it being very good but also probably the least essential of their pairings.

I envy your upcoming discovery of Maurizio Merli and his mustache of steel.

Milian is so goddamn magnetic in The Big Gundown, despite the fact that the whole movie is about Lee Van Cleef trying to bring him to justice for the rape and murder of a 12-year-old girl. It's a pretty magnificent performance.

Speaking of Hogwarts, it would be rather in character for Professor Trelawney to be the only one who couldn't foresee what a bad idea this date would be.

Is the sports critic named Ming, by any chance?

Worthy additions for sure. I could probably also add the compassion of the dude from Cobra Verde.

I've maintained through this whole thing that Trump is a perfect amalgamation of Herzog protagonists: The social graces of Kaspar Hauser, the humility of Fitzcarraldo, the diplomacy of Aguirre, the common sense of Timothy Treadwell, the grounded rationality of Stroszek, the quiet dignity of Bad Lieutenant, and the

Mrs. Dalloway said she would buy the flowers herself, unlike the nanny-state cucks waiting for their government flower handouts.

"(He also mistakenly called Austen, who died during the reign of George III, a 'Victorian' novelist, but whatever.)"

Could be worse. His nose could be gushing blood.
