Man, it's tough to remember that Twitter used to be fun. I myself ran a fake Sheb Wooley account back in the day, just because the notion of there being a fake Sheb Wooley account amused me. Eventually I got some vaguely threatening messages from the estate of Sheb Wooley and deleted it. Nothing gold can stay.

Oh, also Questions for Lennon and the various Superego spin-offs.

I gotta say, this past week, when the very concept of entertainment seemed like an impossibility and I couldn't bear to turn on the TV and I deactivated my Facebook and Twitter accounts, the one piece of media I could depend on to put a smile on my face was back episodes of Spontaneanation. The gentle goofiness of PFT

I subscribe mainly because I consume so much Earwolf content that I'm glad to give them a little cash in return, but I'm a fan of quite a few Howl exclusives too. Besser vs. Audience is fun for fans of Matt Besser and crowd work, The Complete Woman is lovely absurdity in the Superego vein, Hoot Gibson and that new

Oh no (Oh no!), I hadn't thought about that particular implication of her absence. Maybe Ho-Ho will call in from the road?

I always love listening to Scott cover his lack of technical improv skills by playing agent provocateur and driving everything to the most ridiculous extremes possible.

That was great. It's been… some time since I've heard PFT busting up that consistently on a podcast.

I dug HDTGM despite regarding Vampire's Kiss as a legitimately good movie built around a legitimately great Nicolas Cage performance. I did get a little annoyed with everyone writing it off as insane nonsense, but June's epiphany about the Amazon reviewer who nailed the subtext made the whole thing worthwhile.

Awesome. I could sure use one of those.

There was no Hard Nation Wednesday morning. I assume there's now a lost episode out there that will be forever too painful to listen to. I haven't heard Friday's replacement episode with Abraham Lincoln yet. I assume that's going to be painful too.

I have to think Brett's apartment is starting to look a little dated too.

Either that or the return of Pauly Shore.

I did not expect the culmination of Hard Nation's Dwayne The Rock Johnson saga to so intimately involve Jay Leno, but I got no complaints with how that shook out.

I get more excited when I see Brett or Cody on the guest list than I do for just about any celebrity guest.

Man alive, nobody spins gold from a cancelled guest like Hollywood Handbook does. Poor Facebook user D. Cody Martin.

I dunno, it's tough to top Mary Holland's story of her incredibly awkward childhood attempts to be cool, especially topped off by Lauren's horrified gasp of, "Oh, Mary!"

Yeah, Eden was a good guest. Not your standard CBBer but so chipper and amiable that she fit right in.

Yeah, those are Big Wheels. Honestly, that's what I usually picture her riding around the studio even though I know the difference.

At this point the whole episode is essentially fan service, and I've decided I have no problem with that.

In that case it's probably a Brett thing. Rabin wouldn't understand.
