I refuse to believe Robot Frank will ever be less than trenchant.

I absolutely did that when I saw I Know Who Killed Me in the theater by myself on a weekday afternoon.

Yeah, on further review that's accurate. I've just never heard that much gale-force laughter from him before.

I was 14 and fairly obsessed with the '60s when the movie hit the theaters. I thought it was the greatest thing ever made. Naturally I sought out the novel not long after and was startled to find it very… different. I still liked it a lot, though. The movie fed my burgeoning nostalgia for an age I never knew and the

Thursday's CBB was maybe a little lower-key than a lot of recent entries, but it's one of my favorites of the year. Scott, Paul and Michelle Biloon have the kind of rapport that only comes with being longtime friends. It's clear that Scott gets a real kick out of Sully as a character too.

And it just keeps building. He didn't even get to the fact that this was a garage performance until the final segment.

That seems in line with LL's intro piece. Also explains why it's only 29 minutes, which is criminally brief for this pairing. I hope they resurrect the bit for a full-length episode sometime soon.

Besser is gonna be bummed that the improv4humans Sing A Long Experiment didn't get a Podmass mention. It was pretty fantastic, particularly the epic dreams of Crazy Dante, the sad decline of Jackie Paper, and Prince and Bowie as rivals in Heaven.

This week's With Special Guest could've easily been twice as long. Bobby Moynihan is so goddamn quick-witted and he and Lauren settle into a rhythm so easily.

I thought Kristian (or maybe Paul?) was literally going to die laughing at that introduction.

The introduction of Fat Albert (“the baddest buck-buck breaker in the world”) on Cosby’s Revenge will always remain a masterful bit of comic storytelling.

Thanks for the tip. I give most WSGs at least a try but I hadn't gotten to this one yet.

I think I've had my fill of Atamanuik's Trump, maybe because I've had my fill of all Trumps save for Owen Ellickson's, but I fully agree about Craig Rowin. That character is such a reliable burst of petulant insanity. I love how Still and Welsh seem to be just as delighted to learn the new twists of his story as I am.

Plus his official introduction episode also introduced us to Patrick McMahon and Bill Carter, Trainer to the Stars Seeking Stars. http://www.earwolf.com/epis…

There are a lot of Sponts where I wish the improv kept rolling longer, but that one most of all. Hayes in particular was clearly just starting to really feel it.

I took my first stab at Superego Cinema this week with their new Spider-Man 2 episode. I expected it to be more of an MST3K type of thing. Really it's more like a 2-hour Superego sketch with a movie playing in the background, with McConville in character as Trevor the Spidermin 2 kid and Gourley and Carter as two

That sounds… good to me. As much as I love Hanford's John Lennon, though, I do hope he can get a handle on some other characters who fit into the CBB Prime universe. He has Lennon down so cold that it's always a little jarring to hear him do someone else, but eventually Lennon has to wear thin, right? (Although he's

For the Howl.FM subscribers, the Sydney installment of the Comedy Bang Bang Australian tour is one of my favorite episodes of the year. Claudia O'Doherty absolutely kills on her home turf, and Lord Dame ALW and Tracey Reardon are on point as ever, but the return of Mike Hanford's hay salesman winds up stealing the

It kind of made me appreciate Hines's performance all the more that his character bombed almost immediately and he just rolled with it and slid into the ensemble. It was just the right sort of shrug-off for a Scott & Scott joint.

Ellickson's Twitter feed is for real the best thing I've read all year.
