The worst thing about the Daily Currant is how many people I've seen share their articles believing them to be real, then when they're called out on it, actually stand by the post on the grounds of "Well, it's not much worse than a lot of things Michelle Bachmann really has said."

We named the dog "Indiana."

Precisely why I'm constantly accompanied by my dimwitted valet, whom I recruited solely on the basis of our fortuitous blood match.

O is common gutter blood.

But in the Latin alphabet, "Jehovah" begins with an "I."

Followed by one of the best throwaway lines to be cut from syndication:

He was the target of my favorite line of last season, "If a court won't convict you, then we will!"

The Roseanne episode also has someone - Dan, I think - speculating that because DJ's been in the bathroom so long, "either he's really bad at it or really good at it." I love that line.

Don't kid yourself, Jimmy. If a baby ever got the chance, he'd eat you and everyone you care about.

One good thing about Robin Thicke is every time I see his name I get reminded of Paul F. Tompkins' Alan Thicke impression and that makes me smile.

I'll give you a TKO from Tokyo!

The real-life Piston Honda, on the other hand, is a published poet with a distinctive voice and strikingly empathetic worldview.

"There's possum in these beans, and spices too. I tried hard."

I liked his tag on that anecdote: "What I want to know is, does The Wizard of Id get these letters? (Probably, so that doesn't help me.)"

Besser was intolerable, and it upsets me that a lot of people conflate him with Curly Joe, who at least made a go at it.

That's long for "Mud," so I've been told.

I don't believe in many things in this life, but I'll be damned if ever I sit down to a game with a filthy Free Parking Bonus Prizer.

My local roller rink had a version of Pac-Man with Popeye's head in place of Pac-Man. It was creepy.

Mine would start crying if I didn't turn off Elmo fast enough. First time I recall being actively proud of him.

It was advertised heavily in Archie comics, and they actually published a tie-in comic that apparently ran for five full issues. I remember thinking that was pretty cool at the time, which says a lot about my coolness threshold. http://archiecomics.wikia.c…
