Sadly, I installed this and it just didn't work with most of the sites I visited. The scroll marker didn't appear on the page. And there's no way to contact the developer to help them fix the javascript for the sites that are munging it. Deleted after 24 hours.

I ALWAYS peel eggs. Don't like the crunchy texture. Tomatos-yes for sauce, not for salsa. Potatoes-yes for mashed, no for potato salad. Carrots-scrub clean, then eat or steam. YMMV.

You guys should be careful about what you say. While I got the joke in 2 seconds (chem major), others with less rigorous educations (e.g. poly-sci or econ) might not get it. Witness what happened in Florida (yes, I _know_ it's Florida, but still):

Sadly, trailer has died "The Uploader has not made this video available."

I have a Smith Corona under my desk (with a dried out ribbon). I learned to type on an Underwood office model when I was 14. It's not until recently after seeing how Woody Allen writes (typing stuff and physically cutting and pasting edited copy to a new sheet) that I realized I don't need to make 'camera ready copy'

The MacOS client seems to be working now. And I can backup using the free version. Looking around his Facebook and other social media pages, they're just littered with spam. So apparently he doesn't check them very often. I think I'll hold off before giving him any money.

Here in SF, there was a newspaper consumer crusader (recently retired) who constantly told people about getting money back from store gift cards (which can't expire in California), charging for use of plastic (report to VISA/MC/Discover), and other things. Charging for plastic is illegal. Tell the proprietor (nicely)

Since I'm not on Google+ and probably won't ever be, that's not helpful. I finally tweeted my displeasure. Email may be old-fashioned but everyone has it.

I think an attorney should have a little sit-down with this principle in private. A red-headed female attorney wearing standard business attire (brown pinstripe pencil dress, beige blouse, Hermes scarf). With hair died the same shade as the student. The entire discussion will revolve around why the principle is so

After seen the trite crap that was David E Kelly's MONDAY MORNINGS, I can't imagine him getting anything about the WW-verse right. He's either overly medicated (MM was possibly written under the influence of XANAX) or should just retire from screen writing altogether. Or maybe he can script stuff for the next

I had Coke bottles since I was 10. Getting LASIK 10 years ago was the best decision of my life. I found the guy that fixes everyone else's screw ups in the area and went to him. Didn't regret it one bit. I still wear readers for books and computer but don't need them for movies or TV or just life. Now I know what

MacOS client crashes on 10.6.8. There's no "contact me" or "support" link on their site. Bzzzzz. Thank you for playing.

After reading most of the "Are you out of your mind?" posts, I felt I wasn't off-base at spending $90 for a pair of Rockport 'boatshoes' ever couple years. And maybe $100 for one of their other dressier styles. And $40 for a pair of sneakers from China that lasted a couple months and gave me blisters. So, yes, pay

Adam and the rest of the Lifehacker staff in L.A. probably won't see any of this. I know here in SF, I see "minimum credit/debit card purchase" signs all over and have for years. Whole Foods won't do that, but the local mom&pop store on the corner would. Sunny California, where we kvetch about it being cold when

sqlite3 ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.LaunchServices.QuarantineEvents* 'select LSQuarantineDataURLString from LSQuarantineEvent'

I backed a four projects. One didn't make it but the other two met their goals. Then Amazon changed their ToS for The Amazon Marketplace which Kickstarter uses to fund the projects and I couldn't opt out. So I don't use Kickstarter any more. Apparently, there's no payment service that will take 'pledge' style

When I had my card printed at a local print shop 10 years ago, it cost about $500 for 1000 cards. I got it redone by PSprint and OvernightPrints for $60 for the same design, all I had to do was submit the PDF file. Moo wants $260 for the same 1000 cards. What's so special about them? JukeBox was terrible, taking

Yep. Any geek who's enjoying this video is saying that. Which is to say, all of them. emailed the author to recommend updating the article.

The articles I've read on extra-virgin olive oil mostly point to Italy as the perpetrator of the most mislabeling fraud. So I stay away from anything grown in Italy. Trader Joe's has some really good California grown olive oils with a nice peppery kick. Good for dipping bread. Anything else and the extra-virgin

My mom walked into a yarn shop in Provence. The owner said (in German) "Jew OUT!" She's encounter that before growing up in the 50s. I'm pulling the same thing by not spending my money on business run by Mormons. Or stepping into a Walmart. Or contributing to the Salvation Army (their media director recently said
