If you really want to restart your day at 2:00 pm, ask your boss to check what you've done since you arrived. If you slacked during the morning, the sweat from that conversation will kick you into work frenzy and you'll probably wake up much more productive on the next morning.

The best books I've ever read were on public transportation.

Focusing on immediate results in the short term narrows down your success chances because now is a small widow of opportunities. By changing our behavior and growing gradually from every experience (whether it's a success or a failure), we develop the habits we need to help us reach our goals eventually...although you

Scott, this sound like something we'd love to implement on our app (and even tweak it a bit, if possible), we'd like to invite you to implement it with us on IQTELL's Productivity app, are you game? :) http://iqtell.com/

Make also sure that you neutralize stress. Stress influences our ability to reach the right decisions because it blocks the negative elements and takes under consideration only positive possibilities. http://iqtell.com/2012/07/decisions-that-feel-good-might-lead-to-bad-choices/

I usually try to figure out how to approach/tackle things on my "future" item list. You know, those items you plan to do one day but you don't know if you'll have the time/power.

There are a lot of apps there that can give you want you want, you just need to find the right one for you...of course the one the gives you the ability to customize your workflow would be a good fit for you specifically.

That's right, normal lists are boring and ineffective...you always need a fresh updated lists if you want to keep motivation high on future projects. The updating part alone is motivating by itself, keeping the list fresh by helping you reach throw it/do it decisions.

We offer a different approach to setting up our productivity app, we walk all our users through the process in a one on one "guided app tour" that shows the user the app.

I even wrote something about it earlier this week
