One of my favorite techniques to deal with unwanted tasks is to attach a self-destruct date to them...after that date I don't touch them.

On Monday morning I Like to visualize what tasks I'd complete until Friday...that will help a lot I guess in the above mentioned elimination process...But I wouldn't go and kill those tasks entirely.

That's such a sweet hack...will test it next week :)

If you quite a project, you don't lose the knowledge and the lessons you've learned from it, they move with you to your next one...The best thing about knowing when to quit is that you get to fight another day!

Work also stopped being appointment based, everything is right now even if no one demands it :) ...For instance, we're killing our productivity when we're checking our emails 50 times a day, so scheduling to check them only a few times per day (and in a certain hour/place) helps us with that "not able to get my focus

The most important thing about intentional neglect is to remember to return to that task in the future...not all the tasks you ditch are unimportant, they are just not important at the moment.
