@jls: I agree - more and more I have been thinking that discussions about "trusting your partner," always go in the direction of woman to man, yet that shouldn't be the case. Maybe it would curb crazy promiscuity (although I'm not sure if there is a lot wrong with that yet) if men were taught this as well - in the

@sweetjayne: Yeah see another problem with this is that a man saying they didn't want the child would become an easy out for child support every time. Then the man still gets the control of the woman through impregnating + the psychological benefits of having progeny, but without having to care for the child at all.

@Tea and Oranges: If it doesn't coordinate with my shoes than I am totes not taking it.

Happy Birthday Jezebel! Thanks for making the internet worth visiting on a constant and increasingly pathological basis. That being said, never, ever stop writing - I don't know what I would do with myself.

Just had a conversation this morning that has become shockingly common in my life over the past few months (actually since moving to America from Canada but I'm not sure what is the correlation).

I'm glad hats are coming back. Really glad, because I bought an amazing one the other day.

@deleahrium: Yeah all of his "battle of the sexes" question seem to be done with a distinctly male hetero leniency. I think he is missing the point of his own project.

@agirlnamedstewart: This is precisely why we need to get over our swear word hang-ups in corporate America. That must have been so ridiculous to hear coming out of an adult's mouth.

@tunamelt: Yeah but sometimes I feel bad for guys in the summer forced to wear pants because shorts look so silly on them. We at least have the choice of dresses and skirts (of course they could sport them too but society wouldn't be as accepting).

@HRH Your Cuntness aka likepenguins: My barbies had pretty intense sexual escapades. Weirdest thing was that I knew I wasn't alone in my thoughts, because these storylines would come up when I was playing with other girls.

@Sisyphus: Penis Dysmorphic Disorder?
