@TopLevelExecutive: You are totally entitled to your opinion, but I strongly suggest you see Mouth to Mouth. She is completely different in this film - do different that I didn't know it was her when I saw it (this was a few years before she made it big) and I didn't recognize it was the same woman when I saw Juno.

@sarahmick: Yeah it sucks, because as much as I love Jezebel as an open space where none of my ideas or thoughts will be censored or put down for being feminist, it almost hurts the cause because anything having to do with women is placed here, and never (for instance) on sites like Gawker.

@Blackagar Boltagon: I agree that they are completely unconnected. I'm sure homosexual guys, like straight guys would argue their sexual orientation is directed toward adult males and females, not kids.

As long as stories like this are still ghettoized to female sites and aren't carried on the "main" sites, there is little chance that anything will change. Any time an article is about anything having to do with women it is considered a niche article as if we don't exist as part of the main population.

@Blackagar Boltagon: Violence is always a great way to get people to see your point of view...

@BeckySharper: The problem is that without doing it, the few times that it is done women will be ogled. It had to be normalized, just like male nudity was.

See the more we do it though, the less weird it will be and the less people will be taking pictures.

@Lymed: Yeah my roommate was equally confused about the Boston cream pie being under the pie category.

"She also sits up, lies down and can strike some other mighty appealing poses too!"

@Orangulent: Oh, but this list confuses me then - there are a lot of cakes that don't necessarily rise that weren't included in either category.

I am confused though - what makes cheesecake a pie? Or rather why is it called cheesecake and not cheesepie?

Ha! I just had the greatest moment upon looking at the results of the final four.

@bookling: Arg, but I just want to know....

@Porcelina: I think it is because it is forever associated with time alone that you can't spend doing one of the million of things you have to do.

@bride of funkenstein: I do a lot of stretching but unfortunately always get my period at a time when that isn't possible - like at work, school or at the library...

@pastanaut: Yeah, I have been a vegetarian for seven years now and my cramps are so bad that I can't walk for the first day of my period unless I down three extra-strength tylenol.

@bookling: What are the side effects for the NuvaRing? I'm thinking about trying it, but don't want to deal with bloating/weight gain/general changing of my body or mind.

@Penny: Confession, I have tried to straighten my hair with a clothing iron....

@BAngieB: Yeah, I guess we'll have to disagree here.
