Well since these don’t have to built in large numbers and they are true “spare no expense” car, I’d imagine crankshaft stiffness won’t be an issue. It’s probably going to be billet titanium.

Six bolt main caps, anyone? It's not like they won't have the room for them.
Nerd
Gatekeeping, automotive ‘journalist’ style.
Next they’ll be writing about how those kids need to get off their lawn!
This has to stop now because older 911's are unobtainable unlike an FD3S RX-7 or MKIV Supra which anyone can buy.
Who are you kidding Bradley? You know you never want the poors to ever have a 911.
Just curious how you can have that take when you cut the roof off of your 911 to install a carbon fiber panel. I mean, I’m cool with it, it is your car and you do you, but it just feels a little hypocritical to call out companies that modify a car when you are doing the same heckin’ thing.
The Charger is an automatic, so I left-foot brake it. The everyday car is a stick, so I wish I could say I have the skills to shift it as you describe, but that would be a big negatory.
I’ve never seen a mugshot of a guy more named “Cody” than this.
1. The US average price of a new car is $48k.
You might think that, but I think there’s no difference between someone who appreciates and loves cars and someone who also acknowledges they’re a terrible transportation solution. Driving a manual sports car through the canyons fast with no traffic ahead of you and tons of road ahead is fun. Using that same car to go…
Pretty much this, those windows are generally useless in terms of visibility in the first place in almost every case. The non functional part is what get’s me though. Kind of like the fender “vents” fake hood scoops etc. On a separate note what was missing, though touched on with the “bling” thing was all the fake…
No no no no, this sucker is electrical, but I need a nuclear reaction to-to generate the 1.21 gigawatts of electricity that I need
Plutonium + Radium? You mean this sucker is nuclear??
Comment section is just a bunch of keyboard warriors making “I” statements and criticizing young people. It makes me feel sad to read the tone on here when this article is about the situation young people find themselves in. Zero sympathy for the market factors at play that have led to this. Just a bunch of people…
Hamilton drives nice when he is in the dominant car with no one else on track driving at his level. When he is actually challenged, he becomes the driver he needs to be. That’s not meant as a slight with all the regular crap about “having the best car, so of course...”, and all that crap. It just is what is. Lewis…
Where do you live? RAV4's in the United States do not have adaptive headlights yet.
I drove a 2020 RAV4 with the auto high beam control and they were essentially worthless, I had to continually intervene to avoid blasting oncoming drivers with my high beams. The adaptive system on my ‘21 Mazda Miata isn’t perfect but it’s far better. I very rarely have to intervene and shut down my brights.
Build it and they will come
I dunno. If zoos got removed from the human experience, then the reaction to poaching entire species to death might be more lax. There’d be less general awareness of the issue if these kinds of animals were more removed from people’s awareness than they are now.
I would say something between a “heap” and a “big ol’ load” of skepticism is appropriate.
context is always key, the episode came out in January 2015, at the time Tesla was the only car manufacturer with an actual viable EV on the market that wasn’t just a “california special”. SpaceX was showing off their designs for upright landing rockets. And Musk hadn’t really opened his mouth wide enough to put his…
