I currently drive a 25th anniversary Toyota Rav4. Besides 25 not being an anniversary, it’s just as terrible as all the other Rav4s. Actually the Eastern European-exclusive Yandex headunit makes it even worse.

A couple of days, 50ml of WD40 and half a roll of duct tape.
I don’t get it. How do they exploit your desperation to profit off of you if they don’t charge you to move it? Or lock it up behind a fence?
I once had my car towed because they put up the “no parking” sign a couple of hours after I have parked. It’s Russia, good luck proving the sign wasn’t there.
He was 21 when he made the deposit too.
I have a Mk III Focus Estate and I do the old fashioned head spin to check blind spots. The quarters are larger on my car than on a hatchback, but I STILL never use them, the mirrors and looking where I am going are sufficient to me.
How do quarterlight louvers limit visibility? I do have an issue with them not being functional though.
Ragazzi, you don’t just walk into a store and buy plutonium! Are our customers supposed to rip it off?
A Hyundai Solaris level car at the same price point. The range can be less than 200km, but the price needs to be democratic. I fully realise the technical limitations, but I won’t be convinced until everyone who can afford a car right now will be able to afford an EV roughly equal to their current choice.
Transported a full size fridge in a Ford Focus 3 Turnier (wagon). It involved moving the front seats all the way forward and adjusting the backrests to be absolutely vertical. The boot closed too, but it was like driving a tank: cramped and under a constant fear of imminent death.
Russia. I’ve tried adjusting them down manually, but the nature of LED lights is that they beam appears to always point at you if you see the source, even it actually doesn’t. I keep halogens in my project car, cause seriously fuck LED low beams.
“Has always evolved, never stood still”?! You’re having a laugh!
My Rav4 has adaptive lights. I keep being blinded by the same model year Rav4s, can you imagine what it does to people in normal cars?
I hate politics as much as the next guy, but I think this is ridiculous. Can’t we like and respect other people in spite of their political views, based solely on their merit in our field of interest? Censoring politics by omission like this isn’t going to remove them from our life, it’s just gonna reduce political…
What if I want a sleeper, what does that tell about me? Probably that my pp is so small that it’s practically a stinger and that I like to sneak up on people to sting and run.
In the dark it looks like a Skoda Superb and I am all for it.
I seem to be the only person in the known universe to never have an issue with the DCT. The secret was drive it like a manual and in Sport mode. What killed my Focus was a bit of black ice and a wall, the transmission ran fine for the 240k km I’ve owned that car.
Yeah, exactly. I could charge at work before the weekend and after the weekend, so no need to keep a special charging parking spot at home.
If the numbers are true, then it’s a neat thing to have in a small city. My daily commute is approximately 40km in either direction, but I also live in a megapolis which sees 50 sunny days a year. Still, how much skepticism do you reckon is okay in this case? Cause I have ample amounts of it.
The shaft is redundant in case the main electric steering dies. Cause Nissan engineers weren’t sure about the technology’s reliability yet.
