@yanipheonu: We have one - Steam had it on sale recently, and so did GOG.com. Regular price is usually $10, I picked up my copy for $5.

@cul: Not true. The moon does have an atmosphere - it's just really really thin. It's mostly electrostatically levitated moon dust, and outgassed radon and other stuff from the regolith. Not breathable, and makes no real difference as far as we're concerned - but science knows it's there.

@ectocooler: Chick-Fil-A. Best. Chicken. Evar.

@monroe2: Wow. You just made me understand solar cells.

My mother has one of these, since she had a brain aneurysm. She lives pretty normally.

@Firescorpio1: Haven't played it - don't need to play it to see that I wouldn't like it. It has three fails going for it: Third person POV, console-only, and it's a rip-off of a game I already have.

@Hanul: I thought the whole thing was a cheap rip-off of Team Fortress. I had to check the developer to make sure it wasn't made in China.

@acountddd: Reals have been around a lot longer than Kick-Ass. A lot of real-life superheroes don't wear costumes, but those that do are a braver lot than the useless meatbags who sit in their air-conditioned apartments and can't even lift a finger to ring the police when someone is getting mugged outside.

@jschoenakase: Jonathon - don't ever stop. You are a truly good person.

@Brak: And would it have been so hard to include a minute hand?

Serious Sam 2 is not free -it's free to PLAY this weekend. After that, you must buy it.

@Kryptolojik: He wasn't anywhere NEAR the summit. He was taking the train to Bicentennial Park to take part in an event, as he has done hundreds of times (and hopefully will continue to do, if he ever gets his stuff back).

Hrm - Why no ebook readers? They are a unique class of gadget, I think we should see those on here.

I'm hoping so! I'd play it.

@KyleW: Record the previous week's show, and then play it for them at the time YOU want them to watch it.

Perfect little flash demo project. The movement was a little "slidy" as mentioned, and the difficulty was a 2 out of 5, but good for novices and the music complemented the simplistic level design very well.

C&D has been enacted. Too bad. Free publicity is free.

I just finished playing this modded version (using a Steam-download of Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl). The author, Artistpavel, has done a fine job of combining several mods as well as adding his own touches to it, and he's very responsive to questions and feedback.

I'm going to need a new computer to play these new MMOs. Anyone know a good place to go ask "What should I buy for my new PC?" I want to build it myself (I have experience), and get something decent, but not bleeding edge...

I signed up (*and played!*) the original Jumpgate. Wasn't half bad. Can't wait to see how this one turns out.
