They don’t go in the back where the exhaust exits. they enter underneith the car where the actual exhaust enters the fake tips. Since the fake tips are larger then the exhaust, there is space around it that rocks can get into

BMW did that with the I3. It had a larger gas tank, but you could not use it. There was even a software hack to allow access to it by loading a European Firmware onto the US Spec Car. All to make it with the CA rules of the gas range not being more then the battery range.

Not sure what car you were in, but there is mostly soft touch and leather, only a little hard plastic on the entertainment /control system. not sure what you would want them to make it out of.

That is not true. I’ve had larger adults back there. It’s not going for a 2 hour road trip, but when you want to go somewhere quick say to lunch/dinner with as few cars as possible it works. but it’s not going to be a daily hauler for more than 5 people. Not sure why you think the interior is cheap. It’s much better…
