I think they missed what would have been a cool opportunity in the final battle. As things go downhill even after the Cardassian switch, one more fleet arrives. The Ferengi fleet led by Rom, quoting a new rule of acquisition about not abandoning your friends. It might not have been totally in character for the

Yep, fantastic, humanizing moment.

It's not ridiculous. Skye had NO power. Ward's life was in Deathlok's hands. He was the one who put the device on Ward and he was the one who could turn it off.

That's a good point.

"The only reason she saves Ward is that she didn't want his death on her hands."

Six seasons and a movie!

I agree. Dennis is a smart guy, and he's right on this one. Don't tell him I said that.

I don't necessarily disagree with that, but he's about to go into the Holodeck. If he's bothered by the racism of the past in that context, then when would he ever be comfortable in any simulated historical setting?

Yes, Sisko's point about racism in 20th century Las Vegas always felt extremely forced to me. He's a couple of centuries removed from it and lives in a society where he doesn't see it any more.

Individual Consciousness Ending Relaxer

Yes, it was definitely a strange cutaway, but I think you have to assume she died, which is quite horrific.

If only they had invented the nite-nite guns before last week's confrontation at the super-secret lab. Then they wouldn't have had to kill those guys to get the drug.

Two guys (whom we killed) gave their lives (that we took) defending that drug (that we killed them for)!

Oh, and they had a guy murder his own wife in front of a room full of people and the show just let that go. WTF?

Gah! This show is infuriating.

Yes! All the hand-wringing over whether or not Skye would want them to save her life was moronic. The alternative was death, so what part of saving her life wouldn't she be in favor of? It's not like they were putting her head in a jar forever. She was going to be whole and alive. There's no negative there.

If they ever have him utter that line on the show, I will forgive all.

Not to mention how weirdly casual the two guards were. They seemed completely unconcerned about the tactical team coming in to kill them right up to the moment when they were killed.

Did it drive anyone else crazy that they didn't stock up on clean clothing while in the pro shop? It has to get cold occasionally and extra clothing is HUGE. Yet when her new shirt gets bloody, Beth ditches it and doesn't go back and get a new one.

I also love that deep down, even the "combat" characters in this episode, like Reese, are the same good, true, honest Starfleet people we know and love. Even among the PSD and psychological torment, Starfleet is good people.
