Or if they don't have wide-field, then push the button and spray the beam back and forth like a hose. Doesn't work with machines guns as well as people think it does, but with a beam of light, hell yeah it would work.

The war-tech in Siege always bothered me because it's way too ineffective.
Thank you! I didn't get why he left the door open at all. And when the zombie conveniently interrupts the assholes allowing Rick to escape, I thought it was a ridiculous plot connivance. It makes marginally more sense now.
"You're his f—."
I loved the way Devon didn't blink about any of them. He just focused on comforting her, even though what she was saying was horrific.
Yeah, the wide shots were SO wide it emphasized the incompetence of the effort to convince you he was in the room.
I also enjoyed how he just slowly sauntered casually away while she cried out his name.
“You’re a beautiful woman… probably.”
Two of my absolute favorite moments from Nu Who are during School Reunion and relate to Sladen.
Days only. They're found by the search team looking for them.
There are two episodes you might be conflating. The first is when Gilligan gets bitten by a bat, thinks he's turning into a vampire (spoiler: he isn't) and has a dream that he's Dracula in Dracula's castle. It's probably the best "dream" episode.
He uses the "Yale Man" line throughout the series. When Tongo the Ape Man is found on the island, Mr. Howell says it after Tongo starts eating coconut cream pie with his hands.
Larry Storch played a gangster. As mentioned in the review above, Vito Scotti played the Japanese soldier as well as the completely awesome Mad Scientist.
I loved F Troop as well.
Man that thing creeped me out.
But they were home! In any event, they get rescued again pretty quickly in the second movie.
Bob Denver, contrary to Sherwood Schwartz, insists that Gilligan is his first name.
Yep. Agree with all of that. Rescue was pretty good and actually fairly moving in a couple of spots. The scene after the rescue when they suddenly realize they are all going their separate ways is heartbreaking.
Because of the resemblance, it's fun to watch Alan Hale Jr.'s father in Errol Flynn's Robin Hood.
In the Pilot, a news announcer says all their names in a report they're listening to on the radio. It notably does not give Gilligan a second name.
