Well I there could still be a question, if a person in some ways can’t reason or think above the level of a toddler, but has the body, hormones, and physical drives of an adult? Yeah, my initial reaction to the lyrics was to take them as a nice alternative to the common narrative where two women fight over a man - here, Jamie Lynn sees herself and the other woman as important parts of this man’s life, seemingly without resentment. But who knows if there was even an intended message, really.
