I’d like to congratulate Oshkosh on this achievement. I didn’t think it would be possible, but they’ve proven me wrong. They’ve made a mail truck that’s uglier than what we have now. Stunning.

Start/Stop technology, and the inability to permanently turn it off.  You have to disable it every time you drive your car (at least on Toyotas).  It is annoying as fuck and I’m not getting any better gas mileage than my old car of the same model without the “feature”.

This is what I call the classic “Asheville Situation” in terms of need. You’re sorta outdoorsy, working on a budget, and want something comfortable for the days you need to road trip to Charlotte.

I was going to complain about winter driving in the Rockies, but minefields and any country you can describe as “prerevolutionary” kinda puts my problems in context. Have a star and a “congrats on surviving!” 

You win. No one should be able to top landmines.

The minefield between Mauritania and Morocco / Western Sahara is quite tense the first time you drive through it. Stay on the soft sand - if you think you see a road surface, that’s more likely to have landmines.

It’s generally best to train yourself to ignore the contents of the cars you work on, lest someone accuse you of snooping. I was told to move the car, so it was my job to assume that the car was okay to move.

If the work doesn’t involve anything back there, Why would you? On the off chance someone left their child there?

Right, I just think from an attorney’s perspective you always want cover your butt so to speak and if you are going to use your cell phone recording as evidence in a legal by announcing you are recording it you immediatly take away any counter arguments that the recording was unlawful. 

Years ago I negotiated an OTD price on our Hyundai. Trading in our current car wasn’t in the equation.

Dare I say I prefer the looks of the Audi over the Porsche? This is the most German looking car I have seen in a long time. The whole thing looks like it was carved from a single block of aluminum.
