You’re just going to make a slideshow out of the responses, aren’t you?

Yeah, I’m in a major city. On my bike I am often faster than cars, but the difference in speed is still less than it would be between me and a pedestrian.

I owned an 85, 90, and 92 Escort; immediate family members had 87, 88, and 89, and 92s...they were all cheap crap boxes except my mother’s who bought her 87 brand new. At one point we had 2 donor cars in the garage so we could pull parts for repairs to the cars we were actually driving.

This is a bad take.

He destroyed city property that will (likely) be replaced...seems like the harm is obvious.

Allies are chock full of speed bumps in Chicago, it prevents people from using and alley to blast past normal street traffic...the idea being it takes longer to slow down for all the bumps compared to just staying on the main street and dealing with traffic.

Many Chicago houses have the garage in the back, off an alley. In order to park there he’d have to go down the alley.

Damn man, you’re harshing my vibe.

CPS pensions are underfunded by billions, they aren’t investing nearly enough into them.

Kids are walking petri dishes.

No kidding. My buddy’s SIL took her leased car into the dealer for service, and rolled out in a new leased car. Her monthly didn’t change much, but her end date was now pushed out 2 more years.

Closing next week and when we made the offer we did not include any kind of rider where we’d pay the difference between contract and appraisal, should it appraise lower and...amazingly the house appraised exactly at the contract price!

The driver’s door looks like it got repainted.

We bought into a new subdivision on the edge of sketchy, in 2010. Since then both Google and Apple have opened or announced offices in the area. Just sold for 80% over what we paid, and 12% over what we were asking.

We have Torch’s take, now I would like an economists take on the reduced cost, weight, and envinromental impact should a major manufacturer do away with hiding fasteners entirely.

Some folks have extra cars, or won’t be needing one for a long time and therefore don’t need to buy another car. For these people, now is the time to sell.

Headline and story do not jive.

Harley’s Next Bike Is Worth Getting Excited Over”

It’s the internet, even if someone does attack me personally I just ignore it. I don’t have time or inclination to get upset over people I don’t know judging me.

Having the seat in front of you recline somehow impacts your dignity?
