Except all games that give out choices are very misleading. Actual choices should give groundbreaking changes to the overall theatrical stage of a game but there are no actual games that manage to accomplish that.

6 months is a lot of time, so I don't see why its so hard to believe. Most big titles gain millions withing weeks.

That thread is from 2012. In a recent IGN podcast with Shuhei, Shuhei explicitly states that it has sold around a million. I wouldn't be surprised that that particular number is padded with vita sells included and other nonsense.
