Actually, Sony has stated that Allstars has met their expectations. According to Vgchart, it has sold near the 400k (its vgchart, so we can only say its around 400k). It was a success profit wise considering that Sony didn't really invest much on the game.

As far as fighting a wyvern goes, the game has all the elements of MH but (for obvious reasons) it feels different. Also, if you use powerful weapons it breaks the entire mission/fight.

Yes and all fighters have health bars and a combo system. You can hope 2 dimensionally and block. That doesn't mean that from here on out we compare every future 2D fighter to Street Fighter.

It plays differently than smash though. It would be as if I compared Street Fighters to say BlazBlue, although aesthetically the same (2d fighter), they play differently. Yes, the review could have some nods to Smash but it would end at "they look similar".

I didn't count Big Daddy or Dante. You never see "that" Big Daddy use a gun and I didn't say Dante because I'm not sure if half gunplay counts.

Well all I know is that Titan Studios made about 5.6 million around 2010 with that game alone. Sony never release its PSN sale figures.
