You, ironically or not, own a Yugo. You have no room to judge.

This article ignores pricing. My friends wife just got one. yes it’s basically a 2007 car but it was well optioned and out the door brand spanking new for $17,000.

You can get this for FAR cheaper than a Pacifica or a Durango. It’s the same reason they’re still selling the old Caravan.

For a website that tends to bemoan the lack of generally cheap, honest transportation, it would seem obvious why these would sell. Even if they’re not particularly pretty.

“Yes, you can get an 8.4" touchscreen in the dash and navigation and seats and all that for just $33,825.”

The Dodge dealer near me is leasing these for $0 down, $152/month. Heated leather, AWD, 300hp, touchscreen, pushbutton start, seats 7, DVD for the kids. I see a tarted-up Avenger but for a lot of people - good people who I know and like and who don’t care about cars - this would be the nicest vehicle they’ve ever

Technically it’s not the same as 2007, since it had a refresh in 2011 that brought the UConnect, 3.6L Pentastar, redesigned interior, etc.

I’ll tell ya why

Hate if you will, but like said in previous articles comments, its a vehicle that has room for 7 ( albeit tight), has awd option, gets okay gas mileage, can be bought brand new for less than 16K, and isnt a minivan. and since it is an older platform, no surprises of the constant change bringing unwanted dealer

Horsepower is getting out of hand. 400 ponies is more than enough for this type of vehicle. People are spoiled and de-sensitized with all the power manufacturers are giving them. Yeah it’s fun to hoon once in a while. But most folks who can afford this or other luxury cars rarely depress that throttle over half way.

As a proud owner of a 2010 Ranger XLT 4x4 with the less than venerable 4.0L: Please don’t glorify the ranger. It’s a basic, cheap, reliable compact truck. It’s not “legendary”. That said, this thing better be like 35-37k fully loaded and $20k flat on the base model or it’s going to die. If the 4x4's come with the

Is it ‘back?’ Is the Ranger ‘back?’ Or is it like... when Dad leaves, and then Dad is just gone, and then like 10 years later Todd goes from being ‘Mom’s Friend Todd’ to ‘Dad’ and you’re like, ‘uh uh, that’s not Dad...’ The Ranger was a fairly spartan, all-around affordable and functional truck for the masses. Is Dad

A friend I’ve had since high school got a Dodge Shadow (used) as his first car with 100k miles on it when he was 16 (1995). He got rid of it 6 years ago and it had 375k miles with only one engine replacement. Not exemplary but, for that era Dodge, pretty, pretty good.

The Dodge Shadow and Plymouth Sundance were replacements for the L-body Dodge Omni/Plymouth Horizon 5-door models and Dodge Charger (024)/Plymouth Turismo (Tc3) 3-door models. They competed with the smaller compact class against GM J-cars (Cavalier/2000 Sunbird/Firenza/Skyhawk) and Ford Escort/Mercury Lynx.

wow. The fact that it’s a Dodge Shadow “car phone” elevates that dad joke to greatness.

Lemons participation transforms even the meh-est car into to cool AF!

I have a 94 Shadow ES (with the Mitsubishi v6) and race it in Lemons haha. It is quite the car I must say haha. We are about to race it in its 4th race this saturday down in houston. Our 1st race we won “In the spirit of Lemons” at ECR in 2016. Then we won C Class at our 2nd race at MSR Houston in 2016. And back in

Now playing

“My friend’s got a Chrysler, I’ve got a Dodge...”

You will need a screwdriver, a pair of tweezers, a magnifying glass (optional), some salt (~1tbsp), and a bag of chicken feed, preferably corn-based.

These cars were pretty good for what they were meant to be: big comfy cruisers with lots of room inside. Bulletproof 3.8, easy to drive and operate...they were nice full size sedans for people who didn’t want a stressful driving experience. And that’s OK, not everyone needs or wants a BMW E36.
