I love how the Goopster has lowered the bar so much that Ms. Jolie even displaying the most basic level of rudimentary self-awareness is applause worthy.

Knew someone was going to get on this rant, can see the points but sadly, all too common in fantasy/sci fi a lot. They had to shoehorn a new female character into the Hobbit movies to make them not all-male, Trinity is pretty much the only notable female in the Matrix and more. I agree, would be nice to see more women…
