I dunno, I don't think it's such a big deal that this or that title isn't available on Steam if it's available otherwise. So long as I get to play the games I want, I couldn't care less how they're distributed. Actually, as a customer, I'd rather either get boxed games, or get digitally-distributed titles that *don't*

The bigwigs just want the money though, but I agree with you that the designers and artists really want to make a creative, entertainment product. You can't do that kind of job without a certain passion.

Yes. Yes indeed. All Blizzard really wants IS your cash. They're a business, you know.

The Legend of Enix: Foursquare Adventure!

I'm all in favor of a Zelda movie. There's just one thing I don't want. I don't want to hear about a shitty half-baked over-ported rushed game based on the movie:

Could be worse, they could make a completely unrelated sci-fi movie and slap the Zelda name on it.

These thighs look like they're taken straight off of an old He-Man action figure from the 80s

Yes, they did.

Honestly, the expansions felt like oversized stuff packs, they didn't really add much to the experience in my opinion

"When I spoke with Playfish VP of Product Management CJ Prober, he was excited about how easy it would be to update and tweak the game after launch."

believe it or not, I have a shielded 2m cable with gold-plated connectors that cost under 5 bucks

My several 3$ cables have never failed me. Never.

The 1.4 stuff is about conformity to the latest HDMI standard in terms of signal deterioration at a specified data rate, but what they don't tell you is that older cables are usually just as good as the newer ones, you don't HAVE to buy a cable with "1.4" on the box. It's just a cable with the same plug as always, and

I'm not sure how that matters seeing how they're most likely all made in the same factory, just loaded with different regional settings and packaged with different manuals and stuff.

That made my day!

There's some sort of funky auto-hide auto-show going on with the Expand button and arrows. Doesn't seem to work very well, but I've always managed to get it to show or hide more or less efficiently by moving my mouse over or out of the picture carefully and letting it sit a few seconds before I attempt the opposite.

That counts under "lost sales", few are going to buy a full price game they can play through entirely on a simple rental unless they want to actually have the game as part of their collection (I, for one, like to have real boxes on a real shelf). It's understandable that the publishers wouldn't want games licensed for

Just try to get a LAN party together when you're nearing the 30s, working full-time, and have non-gamer friends.

Kill it with fire!

I wouldn't eat a piece of meat that's been kept hidden inside the wall of a demon castle for god knows how many centuries.
