I am so sad about this.  I don’t read romances but as a librarian I love and appreciate romance writers and readers.  She was always in print and could be relied upon for a fantastic story.  She will be most ardently missed.

Another show plagued with show runner turnover and character sabotage.

I won’t be watching Season 3 of American Gods.  I watched season 2 but without Gillian Anderson, and Kristin Chenoweth I was already giving the show the side eye and the quality of season 2 did not live up to the excellent season 1 this is the final straw.  

I think from what I heard the show runner for season 2 of Sleepy Hollow for some reason took to the actress that played Mrs. Crane and wanted to shoehorn her in when she was not what the show was about. The minute that I heard that Nicole Beharie was leaving the show I was done with Sleepy Hollow.  

Orlando Jones was also on a show called Sleepy Hollow. It was a revelation, the actors were excellent, the leads had amazing chemistry together. The only “problem” was that the lead female was a black woman and the leading man was a white man. The quality of the show kept dropping since the show runners kept changing…

I won’t be watching Season 3.  Season 2 was already not up to the quality to Season 1 and this is the last straw for me.

The CGI for T2 isn’t terrible but in comparison to the original Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park holds up better because the CGI used for Jurassic Park was for more of the distance/running animals not the close up stuff. T2 there were more shots of the actor and the CGI modeling to look like his robot appearance that…

I have noticed that movies with practical effects manage to look better later than CGI. The early CGI of Terminator 2 while it was amazing for it’s time hasn’t held up well and really looks kind of creaky now. The sparing use of CGI in the original Jurassic Park and the use of anamatronics for much of the close up…

The practical effects that were used to make the first Jurassic Park movie served it well.  It still looks great in the close up shots with the actors interacting with the anamatronic dinosaurs.  

When I put on the oil I would put it on while my skin was damp it really helped because it was so hot there.

The light oil saved my life last year when I went home to the West Indies.  It is so hot there but between the pool and the ocean I really needed the moisturizer I could only wear the oil because anything else would have made me sweat even more.
