When I was in school in the West Indies teachers would walk around and give you a smack with a ruler for slouching.  To this day I cannot slouch.

My mom’s uncle lived in Red Hook back in the day the garbage would not get picked up because the area was so bad. Now it’s million dollars+ for that area.

The school district matters when you’re trying to sell. It usually takes longer to sell a house in an underperforming school district. My family is looking into buying a house right now and we’re not going to look outside our school district because of this.

There were a few of them evangelizing when I went to Trinidad a few years ago.  I made sure to ask them what they were doing there in my best New York accent because they were not coming to try to talk to me while I was enjoying the good sunshine.  

Stacey Abrams needs to make this a serious issue for everyone. She may have “lost” this battle but she must make sure that the war is winnable. Drag this through the courts and the courts of public opinion.  Make sure that everyone who can vote votes and make sure that their votes count.
