The risk or fear of a flop is probably the main reason we don't have these games.

Two words: Tomb Raider. A highly successful game franchise with a female character. It's been around for a long time, providing a nice precedent.

Bethesda! Not only can you create female characters, but the Fallout and Elder Scrolls games offer the most bang for your gaming buck.

As someone who games casually, all I can really suggest is supporting companies that do provide options that you like. I almost exclusively play Bioware games, because they give me a chance to play as a woman. I'm not saying limit yourself to one company, but at least financially support the companies that you think

Fine. Just do it, Ms. Meyer. Get it over with. Ruin my childhood.

He was one of the best parts of the movie. Did you even see it?

This is just the episode of The Simpsons where Homer won't let Bart see the Itchy and Scratchy Movie. This daughter will be thanking her mom when she eventually becomes Chief Justice of the United States. #simpsonsdidit

Blame Fox, not Marvel.

Okay, just posted in another thread pretty much what I'm going to say here. He's right. I'd love to see a female superhero on screens just as much as anyone else, but right now, we've got a better shot at seeing Rescue than we do at a Black Widow solo movie, a Captain Marvel movie, or one of their many others.

We can blame them for it being so shitty that no one wanted to see it.

According to the Watcher it was the real deal.

there's another great piece with Feige over at The Hollywood Reporter, where he says they really could do a female superhero movie. because they can. they just won't.

I can blame them for looking at those movies and thinking that a woman protagonist was the problem; therefore, no female leads ever.

Not to mention deleting Janet Van Dyne from Ant-Man's story in order to make him less problematic is an incredibly dickish move. Janet (aka Wasp) is a great character and superhero in her own right, but lets just get rid of her, since having her included along with the infamous slap might make people like Hank Pym

I feel like I've seen enough Black Widow. Let us go another female superhero route, and add in some new female blood while we're at it.

No hate intended. Just not for me.

There's something about this guy - and Dwayne Johnson - that makes me smile every time I see them smile.

To everyone with Vin Diesel crushes that I've hated on in the past: MY BAD. I totally get it now.

Not gonna lie, I wish they'd gone with this one.
