There are so many morons on cruise ships who insist on counting the 14 days from the start of their trip, completely ignoring the fact that it should be 14 days from last date of potential exposure... they could have caught something on any day of their time on the cruise ships.
I agree with you on the science skepticism in the US. What’s also odd is that in China, only 2% of the population was vaccinated for the flu. The consequence of that is people don’t know if they just have the flu or the coronavirus.
