That’s the same model I have! The magnesium shell isn’t great by the vents, mine is actually dented and bent out of shape there.

I went to a BestBuy and tried all of them. I thought one of the HP trackpads (maybe it was the Omen?) was decent.

Yep, I had to resort to a trackball too! It’s amazing that MSI considers those trackpads acceptable. I guess they get away with it since they aren’t sold in retail stores as much?

I read somewhere the US versions of some NES games were made harder so players couldn’t finish them as easily as a video game rental and would have a greater incentive to buy the game instead.

If it’s a Windows laptop, I need to try out the trackpad in person. Most are terrible and really sad. Using a mouse on a bus or train is uncomortable and stupid.
