That used to bother me too - but bear in mind that anything showing the passage of time would've given the movie away.

True…but I'd argue that a perfect example of why people feel Xander is a dick is his actions following his misleading Buffy about the spell.
I could buy it if I sensed that type of influence from her parents. I remember being in third grade with a classmate (who had progressive parents) passionately singing Three Dog Nights' version of 'Joy to the World' in class, so having that type of taste so young is possible, just rare.
Totally. I think everyone hero-worships Celeste except Madeline. Remember what the one dad said: that he'd have sex with both her and Perry.
I think you're analysis was fantastic, but I will say Renata seemed much more focused on impressing Celeste in that scene. Her inviting Madeline seemed like an afterthought.
Watching Girls had turned into a hate-watch and I was literally about to give up on it, but then saw 'The Panic in Central Park'.
Ha! You are indeed correct, sir. Well, I've always said that movie sucked, but now I can say it completely sucks.
I get that. But she's young. I feel like a lot of American women, unless raised in a pro-feminist environment from the get go, always seem to have questionable views on feminism when young. Mainly due to how US culture behave as if its a dirty/extremist concept.
I'm kinda delighted that Jackman called out Reynolds' pretty shameless thirsty behavior.
And the maddening thing about it was that it was on Jezebel.
There was a mild dust up a year or so ago because, when on Fallon and actually compared to Lawrence in the interview, Woodley stood her ground and basically made it clear she didn't see it.
Those are really great comparisons. Michelle Williams really left them all in the dust, despite Holmes being pegged to breakout.
I am delighted that dislike for Wahlberg has reached critical levels. I've hated his ass for years - for both his 'I could've stopped 9/11' self aggrandizement and his 'I'm too much of an Everyman for Hollywood' shtick he's tried to (unsuccessfully) peddle.
Another omni-present question was "is [actor name] gay? Not that it matters…I was just curious."
Right? She would have killed that role dead. DEAD! :)
I love 'Brooklyn'. I couldn't believe that was Emory Cohen, because I couldn't stand his character in 'The Place Beyond the Pines'.
Smart's a terrific actress. I was bummed when her Oscar buzz for "Guinevere" didn't result in a nomination.
It saddens me to no end that she is wading through this schlock, rather then playing Black Widow.
I understand. I have family members in the military, so I understand how it's needed to build bonds and a cohesive fighting unit. Thank you for your service to our country's defense. :)
A 'pep talk' is characterized by boosting someone's confidence. Not by minimizing someone's mental illness by being told to 'get over' it.
