Frank Miller based Elektra visually off of female bodybuilding champion Lisa Lyon.
It's interesting how people process things differently. SPOILER ALERT: I've actually perceived those hands as Winona's own hands. And knowing beforehand Abigail's character, it hinting (within the context of the story) at Abigail's "wantonness".
Nope, she never noticed at all. And, believe me, would've said something if she had.
The "Hard Candy" poster is genius: blurring the perception of Little Red Riding Hood as bait AND hunter was terrific.
I've always loved the "rip down middle" poster of "The Crucible" (the Winona Ryder & Daniel Day-Lewis version). Something about it always struck me as sexy.
As a teenager, I had it hung up on my bedroom door and it took me weeks to notice that bound women formed the skull images on the moths.
I've always wondered how she felt about Jack Kirby basing the physical look of DC Comics' super hero Big Barda (of "The New Gods") off of her. Of all the comic book characters out there, Barda & (Marvel's) Elektra are visually based on actual people.
Sadly, not anymore. Torres' character (Jessica) moved to Canada and is no longer a regular on the show.
You clearly have zero empathy skills, you judgmental POS. I can't imagine any normal person enjoying your company.
Ha! It's the only reason why I clicked the review link.
Her S1 looks were her best BY FAR. They retained a different costumer from the start of S2 onward, and I haven't enjoyed a single Cookie outfit since.
The Tudor/Elizabethan period was plenty soapy already, but I understood that there would be embellishments to sexy things up. But when the CW marketed "Reign" as 'Ye Olde Gossip Girl' in various articles*, I knew it was going to be both hopeless and a hot mess.
A positive consequence is that it made more people aware of the genius that is Bryan Fuller.
Drew, Dank Meme is mixing up 'Stick Man' with the internet meme known as 'Slender Man'. There is a criminal case in Wisconsin where two tween girls nearly stabbed to death a third girl (who allegedly was their friend) as an "offering" to the Slender Man character.
You know what's weirder? My tween self pointing out said lyrics to my own mother, who was totally oblivious to them. True story.
I definitely think the eliminated queens return to help deliberate either the top two or the overall winner. It aligns with the theme of "the best of the best" winning…and who better to determine that than a council of All-Stars?…
The following is a total sidebar, but will related to the gorgeous Ms. Strahovski:
Thanks!
