I feel like it also provides greater context regarding the comments Fox made about him that got her fired from the Transformers franchise.

"The Kindly Ones" is, bar none, my favorite SM arc (although "A Game of You" comes close).

Surprisingly, "Lincoln" is the one movie I lack anecdotes about. LoL!

Hoffman has claimed it was said in a teasing, playful manner, and was misconstrued over time as if Olivier meant it as an insult.

Maaaaaaybe. But DDL is notorious for taking his methodness to extremes, which, along with the Hamlet incident, makes me wonder about how much work he could be in non acting scenarios.

Nope. DDL famously had a public breakdown during a high profile stage production of "Hamlet" in the late 80s.

Agree X1000. It also helped that the art was done was done by the incomparable Bill Sienkiewicz, which (as mentioned by others) really added a level of menace and darkness to NM that was *never* in UXM. The art and story lines were really ahead of their time.

Yes, Cersei think she's justified in the books. But her love ft or her children definitely seems more self-centered and not at all altruistic. She (to me, at least) sees her children as mere extensions of her being; much the same way with how she sees Jaime. Her love for them I add not remotely pure in the books, it's

Perhaps. But the character is still to sympathetic for my liking, considering a lot if what's occurred can be placed at her feet.

I also wish they would get Shohreh Aghdashloo on this show. In "Dance with Dragons" there is a character called The Green Grace who I saw as Aghdashloo in my mind's eye.

I love what Lena Headey has brought as Cersei Lannister (she's made the show version much more sympathetic) but I so wish I could see Charlize Theron's interpretation.

You're talking about Dacey Mormont. She reminded me of both Arya and Brienne regarding her shyness and tomboy behavior.

There were some interesting things done in that FF run, that's for sure. I know I'm repeating myself, but I *loved* how much agency they gave Susan: from her running the company funding Reed's research to foreshadowing her attraction to Namor (rather then making her a damsel who was obsessed over by him ).

I find it exhausting that, because of Nolan's Batman movies, it's assumed that ALL comic reboots have to be dour. It reminds me of the reaction of DC/Marvel when Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns"/"Batman: Year One" and/or "Watchmen" debuted. A lot of comics we're drained of any sense of fun to make them dark.

Intellectually: Phillip & Elizabeth Jennings ("The Americans").

I think she would make a more interesting Hippolyta. There's a specific type of toughness to her that would suit that character so well.

Monica Bellucci as Wonder Woman.

Sadly, the dude who played Dunst's boyfriend in this (who says that line) died of a heroin overdose in the early 2000s.

Co-sign.

I f-ing LOVE "Bachelorette". It really bums me out that it doesn't get as much love as it should.
