The portability of the Switch has actually been a great thing for me. Sometimes I just wanna go somewhere else and chill with a nice handheld game. Nintendo consoles haven’t been about pushing performance since the Gamecube. They focus on cost-effective hardware with unique features and games that focus on quality

The whole “flat hierarchy thing” at Valve hasn’t been true for quite a long time now, it’s based on a decades old interview. They slowly shifted away from that as the years went on and the development of VR hardware, SteamDeck and HL:Alyx forced them to get more organized and set up some management to actually get

The next Metroid Prime is coming out in the next year or two supposedly so that’s something to look forward to.
Also the future of medicine/longevity is very promising these days, I’d be pretty confident if you’re below your 50s that you’ll live a fair bit longer and healthier with the advances that will be made in the

NFTs are stupid, but people need to stop making the environmental damage point, because it’s dead now, most of these services switched to extremely low energy solutions specifically because of all these complaints. So now if you make the environmental argument, it just makes you sound uninformed to those idiots you’re

I feel like the social media person managing the Nintendo Twitter absolutely knew what they were doing. On a normal day, a Wii Bowling tweet would not have gotten much social media traction, but here comes this perfect opportunity for them to get tons of free retweets while feigning ignorance about the timing with the

The point was that they care enough to want to keep playing the game initially, but if you give them a reason to leave, like adding this crypto shit, then they will be easily pushed away. People have less reason to be attached to a given game these days with how many options there are.

There is so much competition for userbase now it’s wild a dev would risk losing it. People don’t care THAT much about your game, there are thousands of other games people want to play as well these days, giving them an excuse to do so is insane.

My comment did not ignore profit motive at all, I literally talked about that. I was literally pointing out that the issue isn’t MTX itself BUT greedy profit motive taking advantage of it.

Destiny 2, Apex, FortNite, Genshin, FFXIV, Guild Wars, Dota 2.

Forza 5 had this, except you didn’t even need a script because the game has auto-pilot as an accessibility feature. So you could just load up a custom map that had tones of laps and let it go with something holding down your gas key.

I would say it has its cons and pros. Some developers use it simply as a way to wring out bigger profits, while others user it to actually greatly increase the scope/content of the game. If everyone had to pay $250 for a game, it’s a lot less likely people will play it, but if everyone pays normal price and then a

This reminds me of the old “Amped” series of games I loved as a kid. The control scheme was just like this and it had the same kind of free-form grinding and floaty feel. The game even introduced Snowskating which was a relatively new thing on the scene at the time and a surprise to be included. I was ecstatic at the

I would argue most people buy cosmetics to show off to others or “flex”. You already know what your character looks like, and you want others to see. But yeah I’m sure that’s not the case for everyone, but I think it is most.

What? It’s been a meme for the past couple years that Warlock and Titan are so much stronger than Hunters, in both PVP and PVE. Titan can insta-kill you in so many ways without a super in PvP and have *more* mobility than the class that’s supposed to be all about mobility, Hunter. And both have supers that can go on

Yes, holos.

He wasn’t just taking the expensive cards, he was grabbing the loads of easier to sell boxes of cards too.

Could have been holding onto a lot of first-gen shinies with good ratings. For shops that have been around for a long time, this isn’t a big feat, and they would have obtained a lot of their cards back when prices didn’t blow up to astronomical proportions in the past few years.

Again, that’s not how it works. It’s not specifically gay/bi women who like these kinds of characters, it’s not specifically about wanting to sleep with the character. Most female gamers I know enjoy having a “sexy” character to dress up, they want that fantasy, they don’t want to look plain and masculine. I didn’t

That’s a little disingenuous. People here keep acting like this is an exclusively Male desire to frame it as misogyny, when in reality you will find a large proportion of female players also enjoy having “sexy” characters like this. I would argue a majority of female players enjoy these types of characters, especially

I agree those people really need to keep their degrading comments to themselves, demeaning a person because of their looks is cruel and not constructive. It’s really sad to see.

As a fairly or maybe slightly above average PC player... The Mangler is very hard to use and the damage justifies that imo. Given how fast characters move around and how skinny the Mangler shots are, it can be quite annoying to land consistent shots, nevermind a headshot. And the fire-rate isn’t all that fast either.
