Welp, I have integrated my BB startegy into DS 1, 2 and 3 and have had great success. So I disagree that it’s universally obvious, or even necessary for that matter. May vary from player to player but i disagree that you need to drastically alter your play style between games.

while the first half off that fight isnt that bad, it’d be much easier if it weren’t a constant battle of player versus camera.

Dark Souls 3 - I’m at Yhorm right now and should beat the game by the end of the weekend. Playing the Nioh demo as well.

Again, there IS an easy mode: summon an NPC or friend.

The difference between the two is crazy. I played for about an an hour and a half last night and got my ass handed to me - running away from enemies is simply NOT AN OPTION.

The order i played the Souls games was BB, DS1, DS2. Because I started with BB my strengths were very much around being quick and rolling and dodging - these tactics, to my and perhaps others’ surprise, translated incredibly well to DS1 and 2. Not everyone may agree, but I plan to approach DS3 similarly.

Dark Souls 2 was NOT disappointing. Perhaps in the sense that it WASNT DS1, but it was absolutely not disappointing.

Great to hear it’s more like DS1. The Halberd build in DS 2 was absolutely atrocious. The speed at which i could swing that thing was leaps and bounds faster and more dangerous in Ds1.

i’m assuming the new raid will be that scrapped Mars Raid. Reinvigorating the old raids and POE just makes sense

while i hate trolls, this is pretty hilarious.

I remember reading somewhere we’ll be able to import our destiny characters into Destiny 2. Fingers crossed the spring DLC includes that scrapped Mars Raid. I still run the raid a few times a week cause it’s fun and it’s enjoyable helping people through.
