The 400 ft (above ground level) rule is only if you’re in unrestricted airspace, so it would be interesting to see if he was operating in restricted airspace (and had permission to do so, if it was restricted).

FAR 91.119 allows for operations below 500' MSL over open water. Also, that same FAR states that helicopters may be operated at altitudes lower than 500' MSL when on a specific route. While I am not familiar with the airspace in question, it is common practice for low-level helicopter routes to follow coastlines,…
Have you never heard a helicopter? The drone operator knew there was a helicopter in proximity well in advance.
FAA rules state that helicopters have right of way vs UAVs. Just as Hot Air Balloons have right of way vs helicopters.
Do you really expect me to be bale to see a 1x1' drone as I’m flying (legally) at 120KIAS, recognize what it is, and maneuver out of the way in time? Turkey Buzzards and hawks are hard enough, and…
But airspace doesn’t use basketball charge rules.
No. Helicopters have right of way vs UAVs. (FAA)
Also, do you really expect to see a small 1ft-wide UAV while travelling at 90-120KIAS?
I can tell you that TURKEY BUZZARDS of all things can be hard to spot even in straight and level flight until they’re almost under your rotor disc under some circumstances. UAVs and…
A private helicopter flew right into my drone.
That’s in Florida Ryan
It’s not incorrect though. Your GPA is pretty worthless after you graduate college. Grades don’t define someone.
My college GPA is a mediocre 2.7 and nobody who interviewed me gave a fuck. Unless you want to be a doctor or go to grad school your GPA is meaningless.
2.9 GPA engineering degree got me into a top Fortune 500 making above the average salary right out of school back in 2011. And I know I’m not the only one.
Jeremy Clarkson can still write better than any staff on here.
It’s a little empty without context but I mean he’s not actually wrong. Good grades are generally better than bad but there’s generally opportunity for improvement and advancement as long as you don’t let it fuck up your mentality.
In honor of this article and today being National Tell a Joke Day:
More uplifting, but not as motivating.
His TG/GT persona is just for shits and giggles.
Did it work?
You think he’s cute? Not that I’m judging you. Just surprised is all.
I had an Uncle who told me that you could get rid of crabs by soaking your genitals in a bucket of gasoline for several hours. I was eight.
To those of you who received honors, awards, and distinctions, I say, well done. And to the C students I say, you, too, can be President of the United States.
