I think the thing I’m most irritated about is how FA has been morphed from a cool place to discuss defense and military equipment, strategy, and tactics, into what’s basically a political sounding board - of which the mothership-formerly-known-as-Gawker has many other places to post this rhetoric!

Obama “shut down guantanomo bay, bring all troops home within 6 months, pull out of Iraq entirely, shovel ready jobs, hire “an army” of new teachers, etc etc etc none…

Just from reading the description of events, it sounds like this guy has some type of mental health issue, specifically schizophrenia. One of the giveaways is what’s called the “head gear” sign, where a patient wraps a towel or blanket around their head. It’s possible he didn’t take his medication that day or fell ill…

A lot of russian aircraft use a different style of attitude indicator than “western” countries use. It’s quite challenging to comprehend (not sure how prevalent it is tbh) but I used to use it for my ADM lessons.
