Guy Gardner isn’t just my favorite Green Lantern, he’s in my top 10 comic heroes period. And if I can’t get Nathan as Booster Gold, I will GLADLY take him as Guy.

Not a popular opinion, while Voyager was not a great show, Janeway is my favorite Captain of the whole franchise.  She just has that perfect blend of command and humanity that makes her seem slightly more real then any of the rest of them, while still being an incredibly impressive role model.

Thats a bit silly. Presenting it in the article as “GOTY contender” and implying that it was universally beloved while not even acknowledging that your own publication reviewed it pretty negatively comes across like just trying to farm clicks by appealing to drama.

I think it is absolutely fair to point out that a website that is calling this one of the best games of 2023 published a lukewarm review of the same game not long ago. It is obvious that authors are going to have different opinions, but it is all under the Kotaku banner.

True but “this is boring” and “this is one of the best games of the year” are very far apart

One of 2023's best games seems to have landed with a rather heavy wet thud at Kotaku. The first paragraph of the Kotaku review by John Walker reads as follows:

I wish this faith based pregnancy centers would be shut down. 

It’s a video game about magic kaijus.  If it isn’t over the top then what’s the point?

I dunno... it kinda matches up with the gif, but the ground-and-pound move is a pretty common thing and this seems like a coincidence of framing more than a homage to me. How about this: let’s ask Gendo what he thinks. Gendo?

I’d like to live in a world where we ignore misogynists. I can only imagine it is not the majority of gamers that are upset and just a small percentage of basement dwelling cave trolls. We need to stop giving them the attention they so desperately crave 

Looks great. A nice mix of skill-based platforming and flexible combat.
