Yeah. Yeah there was a skeletal horse. And those evil foxes. So yeah there’s at least something there for traditional action movie directors to cling to. They’re saved by a blooming tree, though, I’m betting that probably isn’t quite the conflict resolution they’re looking for.
I think one factor that makes this hard to bring to the big screen (at least with action movie type directors and the expectations of modern moviegoers) is how little magic there is, and how subtle, compared to HP, Percy Jackson, and other young adult movies featuring magic.
I’d say so. The Dark is Rising, The Grey King, and Silver on the Tree are the most powerful in the series. But then Greenwitch has its own charm, and it’s short enough that you probably shouldn’t need to skip it.
Came here to post this. Glad to see others feel the same and got here first.
....seems to me with that mindset that you shouldn’t play any MMO. After all, anywhere from 6 months to a year later there’s bound to be an update. If having the best gear matters to you above new experiences and the gameplay itself, best move onto single player games, after ensuring they’re never going to update and…
Absolutely. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Spoiler: Indiana Jones is betrayed and whipped off a narrow bridge to his death (with his own whip) by his vengeful illegitimate son Short Round.
Definitely dicks.
For full games, it’s got to be the Metroid Prime series. I’ve got the collection, so straight through, Prime, Echoes, Corruption (we don’t talk about Other M).
For those wondering if Robocop could beat the Terminator (in a rap battle)...
“Trump, a sentient wig possessed by an ancient evil...”
To think that it’s a growing possibility the next presidential candidate would start a nuclear war because he fell for a meme.
OP was speaking tongue-in-cheek. That “gee” was a little subtle.
While I’m not sure I’d call it the best MMO out there right now, it is very solid, beautiful, and has wonderful music.
Well, Black Desert Online just went just recently. Not sure if that’s too actiony for your taste in MMOs, but it looks promising (planning on giving it a try tonight).
There’s no sound in space, silly.
I don’t think I’m the only one who rejects NuTrek’s (psuedo)technical authority on how things are supposed to work. Transporting things alone is a hell of a thing, but quasi-plausible. Doing that same thing across lightyears, at FTL speeds, with that insane level of precision, but doing all THAT with the exact same…
Though in defense of the series, I quickly learned the words “puissance” and “puissant”.
Has someone mentioned this author and series?
