I saw the convertible Solstice at the LA Auto Show, I remember talking to one of the Pontiac reps and being flabbergasted at the fact that you had to get out of the car to put the top up or down.
It’s kind of funny that Kelly is now relying on the men and women of an institution he has a hand in trying to bring down to not throw him under the bus by saying: “Nah, we told him well before and even showed him the pictures. He’s full of it.”
My mom bought one of these new off the lot as a gift to herself when I was in high-school with the V6. It always surprised me how ‘quickly’ that thing hustled to 60.
At first I was surprisingly OK with it. Then I realized I would eventually need to put the top up and wondered what that looked like.
I thought about grabbing the Concert Stereo head unit from this car for my Audi, but then remembered that they are code-protected and the manual for this car—which might have contained that code—was missing.
I always thought that oil gauges in some (most?) vehicles are pretty worthless since they don’t tell you how much oil your vehicle has (like a fuel gauge does) - rather that area where the sensor resides has oil pressure.
I’ve spent a good amount of time reading up on it, and so far it seems like the main pain-point is the viewing angles - but it seems the positives outweigh that negative.

Loosely related: I absolutely loved the game Vanishing Point on PlayStation. Especially the challenges it had like launching your car off a ramp at the fastest speed possible to get a higher score.
I had an experience while taking the bus to work which in the end didn’t turn out the way I worried it would but I’m glad I didn’t take any chances.
We cannot keep FEMA, the Military & the First Responders, who have been amazing (under the most difficult circumstances) in P.R. forever!
