If I recall correctly (from an article I read years ago but can't remember now) - Motorex did not publicly disclose the entire process they went through to legalize the R33. The government allowed them to keep a few things confidential as "trade secrets" since they did have to put forth quite a bit of money to get to

1. Place your Nissan Silvia in a container bound for America. 2. Tell the government that container holds Toyota Corolla dashboards. 3. Fill out your paperwork saying that the container holds Toyota Corolla dashboards. 4. Arrive at the port ready to collect your Toyota Corolla dashboards. 5. Drive home in your Nissan

Every six months, websites proclaim that the flying car is just over the horizon! And as if on schedule, the Daily Mail has a new article about how Terrafugia's Transition is coming soon! The only problem? We've been hearing that since 2008.

When my grandfather passed away my father asked me to fly down to Mexico with him to attend the funeral. We normally travel from Tijuana International Airport to General Francisco J. Mujica International Airport (Morelia, Michoacan) and then get driven to his hometown of Zacapu by awaiting uncles.

For a second there I thought the screen was swiveled to act as a stand of sorts... but then remembered how impractical that would be for anything but movie watching.

It took forever to finally convince my parents to buy me one. We'd go to the local swap-meet (flea market) and all the toy booths would have them. It was awesome once I finally owned it.
