Our garage door occasionally has issues when closing where it will close completely, then begin opening again as if it had hit something. Nothing is in the way and the sensors are positioned correctly. The problem usually resolves itself (after much grumbling) but it does get annoying.

I think the best thing you can do right now is just close your eyes and pretend it does not exist.
