Maybe? I believe "Police Interceptor" vehicles have upgraded brakes built to a certain spec (not disclosed). That may be the case here.
But the main question we still have is why it's happening. Simple glitch in Google's systems? Or does someone want us to see this particular car crash, of which there have been so many?
Is that building.... wrapped with a bow?!
More importantly!
Hmm... double post. Let's make good use of this space!
Question - I thought this was already addressed/known when they first announced the concept of their car. It's even included in the article you linked to [http://jalopnik.com/googles-new-ca…]:
Electric power steering is different from "steer-by-wire", if I recall correctly.

The bezel is likely the only reason I was able drop my Droid Bionic from the second floor in my office building and have it survive...
I never even knew this existed for Android, but now I do! Thanks!
Fun fact, I was able to embed the <img> tag using the HTML form... it's just not showing (to the public). Soon....
It's just SO HAPPY!!!
Fun fact! The only reason the Acura Integra is no longer listed is because they have all been stolen and sold for parts - now the only thing that can be stolen is the parts themselves.
You got a genuine laugh out of me. You need more coffee!
Honestly, it was my fault for putting way to many things on it. I deserved it. But realistically not many people pay attention to/care how much they load onto shelving units sometimes.
Having just had an overloaded shelving unit come crashing down this weekend... I agree!
Is that video for real? Like an actually paid for to market this thing real? The music.... the editing.... the footage.... just everything. It's so bad I'm almost yelling at my computer. MAKE IT STOP!
Boutique tuners are a very different beast though. They are places were people take their cars to upgrade, because they've made a name for themselves over a long period of time. Most also warranty their work - which is the defining factor between the reputable tuning shop and the garage tuner.
