I never would have hesitated to hook up a modest load like that to an S. The chassis is up to it, the powertrain has mountains of gumption. The only sticky point is getting the hitch mounted, and it looked like you did that right too. No worries.

I own a 5 year Volt, my first non-Toyota vehicle. I’ve put 80,000 miles on it so far and so far, no problems. Its just a solid all-around commuting machine.

I can’t say I’ve driven a Tesla, but I own a Volt, and I have to say that I think Chevy makes a good electric Car. Obviously, Tesla is freaking Tesla, and I doubt I would trade one in for a Chevy if I had one but based on the Volt, I think the Bolt is gonna be pretty decent.

I’m sure Tesla owners will find this very rebolting.
