Front doors slide forward!!!!

They look fine... You’ll get used to it.

So that brings up my next question: how much fuel is required to start a turbine engine? If it isn’t a terribly large amount, why not shut the engine off once the battery is fully charged and then restart it below a certain threshold?

My dad was one of the pre-orderers. What you need to understand though is that that’s all “company money”, and it’s only a single fillup and a bit’s worth for an owner operator whose monthly operating costs for a traditional truck are in the order to $15k+ a month with repairs and all that.. Putting aside $1500 (in

Yes! I can absolutely see this, too.

OK, there are at least three of us in this thread with the right idea!

The taxi looks a lot like a Hindustan Ambassador with a slightly smaller grille.

I had a 2015 Kia Forte EX with all the added packages - leather, AC & Heated seats, navigation, powers everything. It was great while living in Texas. But moved to NY and needed awd in the winter. I do like my Crosstrek, but I miss the Forte. Small, peepy, and convenient. They packed lots of extras into that car that

They really aren’t. Dollar-for-dollar, Kias tend to be the same as their Hyundai counterparts, if not more. But Hyundai is definitely the mainstream brand. Kia is a bit sportier. Hyundai is like Ford, while Kia is like Mazda, back when those two brands were affiliated.

Sort of like you, I feel that they will not age well at all which is why I'm totally fine looking at them (I think the Hyundai Genesis is beautiful, for example) but I wouldn't buy one if I meant to keep it.

I agree with all your reasons, Kat, but you forgot one - you worked hard to get your car into its present customised condition. It really is your car. Of course you want to keep it.

Babou? I think he remembers me!

I bought a copy from Dollar General for $3 a few years ago. I can watch it whenever I want, so of course I don't.

I admit I spent more time then I should fantasizing about a Cary Grant/James Mason sandwich.

I watched North By Northwest only two days ago—imagine what Vandamm could have done with these documents instead of that boring microfilm!

Well, I did the MGB thing for a few years and regretted it - and now I’ve come to regret selling it. Just like anything else remotely collectible, the prices have gone through the roof over the last 15 years.

The one I already have, of course.

For a rarer, unusual but so much cooler choice: an Alpine A108 or A110 cabriolet. Boy oh boy. Good luck finding one though.
