Thank you for focusing on the vital parts of this story. It's refreshing.

Saying that girls turn into psychopaths upon puberty is really, really offensive, as is most of this thread, which is rife with stereotypes.
I *still* fart on my sister's head for fun. Fuck this thread!
I agree with you. WTF is this thread doing here? I was a grimy little girl. I had grimy sisters. My oldest sister used to fart on me and my sister's heads for fun. I used to stick my feet in their faces for revenge. My mom used to have to beg me to take baths. My older sisters are both obsessed with football. My…
It's not real, he posts this crap every week under one name or another.
Because you dislike children or people who make dumb assumptions about the gender of a child making any difference to the way they behave?
This thread is bumming me the FUCK out.
Uh, all of that applies to several small girls I know. Don't be silly and assume girls aren't gross children.
She probably also thinks that goddamned dress is White and Gold.
The Aaliyah situation hit me hard as a woman who was told that I wasn't Black enough my whole life. Zendaya is a beautiful Black woman. She identifies as Black and she is clearly an awesome young woman.
As always, ITW, you've given me a lot of good points to digest. I hadn't considered before the analogy with straight kinksters wanting to be considered queer (which, yea, lolno, you ain't allowed in dudes). I guess I'm just sensitive to some people being told they aren't allowed in because, as someone who's bi/queer,…
Okay. Whatever you need to believe happened in order to feel good.
You're right that oppression doesn't have to be equal or happen in the same way for both groups to be considered marginalized. But that's not exactly the issue with aces being considered "queer" - it's that, in calling them queer, there is an argument that their oppression is both more or less equal, and happens in…
That's beyond shitty, given how much gay, lesbian, and bisexual people owe transgender people for the rights we have nowadays and the hugely disproportionate amount of work trans people did to build the movement that has done so much for cisgender queer people.
It sounds "relatable" because most of what asexuals describe is just totally normal, average sexual interest and expression. For some reason they decided to borrow a bunch of concepts and terminology from queer usage but — at least from what I have seen — the majority of them aren't really outside the norm.
Are you sure it's not Queer Black People first?
No, you lost it when you wrote "I take it you're black" to TeacherKaye after she took the time to compile a list of race-baiting topics Megyn Kelly has been a part of, because that's clearly the qualifier for you. The fact that you think that's a valid question tells me that a situation where someone might be…
I'm not invalidating the opposition. I'm asking you to educate me with facts and references instead of blatantly jumping on my original and current opinion with derogatory and angry remarks. If you can't do that, my "bad/wrong/poor" opinions are not going to change. They may or may not change anyway. That is my right,…
Again, it's your opinion on trial here, so you are the subject of the discussion. If you want to discuss my opinion (something you've completely failed to do up to this point) then I would expect something about me personally because it's MY opinion.
