It will probably continue to go back and forth for as long as there is pop music and pop culture. If female artists continuously focused their image and performances on what men desire, I think we’d eventually find that dreary as well.

Depression is SO HARD. It is SO MUCH WORK. It’s like everyone else is just jogging along on the treadmill in their cute little outfits, watching The Bachelor, and you’re running a marathon in mud up to your knees with shoes made of cement in the freezing cold pouring rain.

Big cats are still...

I would hyperventilate with joy  if I stumbled upon a tiger. Like I know it would maul me if I ever tried ( and probably even if I didn’t), but I would just want to hug and snuggle it so much. They’re so pretty!

Has anyone signed Cara Delevingne for the movie yet?

I’m really good-no need to see more acts profiting from black culture without acknowledging it.

i, a white person, have gone for the entirety of my 33 years without ever donning blackface, or hanging out with people in blackface, or designing a clothing item that looks like blackface”

I saw the black face reference in the Gucci sweater, I don’t see it here. I’ve never been into evil eye or lip print styles, but this strikes me more as a design in that style than something that could be considered mockery.

As a white person can you stop trying to dominate a conversation about black face while looking for back pats.

I thought the Gucci sweater was an easy call, but I’m just not seeing this as at all reminiscent of blackface minstrelry.

Is anyone else like at the end of their tolerance for her sobbing?  And her and Cooper like falling all over each other in tears about how amazing they are?  I am so over it.  Calm down guys, you just made a movie.  The fourth iteration of said movie even.  It was good but jfc they need to chill.

I was so intrigued by Lady Gaga a decade ago. I really liked this persona that she created. But now when she’s trying to be real, it still feels very much like a show to me. I can’t shake it.

Except Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga’s thirst level was beyond anyone else’s and made me physically uncomfortable.

I’m in the the “he was really never that deep” group, but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t influential. I think he was just of the opinion that art is whatever people like looking at. There doesn’t have to be a deeper meaning.

Honestly I don’t really have a problem with the Warhol ad. They just showed footage as is and didn’t superimpose him into something else. I’m no expert but it felt very Warhol to me and wouldn’t be out of the realm of something he would do. I was surprised when it turned out to be a BK ad instead of a Heinz ad though w

I’ve only microdosed once but I really enjoyed the experience. I didn’t get high, it just made everything in the world look like it was in high def and way prettier than normal. 10/10 would recommend.

He’s like the lost puppy who keeps getting found by the cute girls who wind up giving him away because they can’t break him of shitting the bed.

It’s actually even more embarrassing than that...

Coincidentally, her seemingly plastic fingers in that photo look like the fish on a shichirin. Also, who tattoos their palm? Not judging...but.......hrmmm.

The Internet will never forget.
