Runner appears to have unfortunately forgot that umpires will make game-changing (and correct) calls that might seem nitpick-y even on the biggest stage:

Thurman Munson once purposely dropped 3 Ks just to get 3 assists to take the lead on Carlton Fisk.

Now I’m hoping all the more that Net Neutrality doesn’t get taken away. Cable companies will stomp this dead if it does.

Funny thing is, probably 80% of fans at games avoid Wahoo apparel now, with the other 20% being the “let me flaunt my ignorance/racism” crowd that you’ll never convince anyway. Even most fans seem to be on board with getting rid of it (thank goodness).

It was pretty sickening in person; I haven’t seen a couple baseball players stay down that long in quite a while.

Hi, I’m an Indians season ticket holder and ultra-fan, and I want the logo gone. The whole idea that all of Cleveland’s true fans are behind the logo is definitely not true.

Here’s Hammy’s call :)

Agreed. It really lost me when it made the “screw the math; my opinion has to be true! it’s obvious!” argument.

I wrote a piece called “Petrichor” in 2013. Sorry for the shameless plug; I got excited. :P

Kind of clickbait-y, no? The Mariana Trench is 36,000 feet deep. They were searching at 13,000 feet *near* the ocean’s deepest trench, in the Mariana Trough, more specifically.

Sure, anything you’re particularly interested in?

Lived in Cleveland my whole life, and I’ve seen a lot of people come in and out through school. It always comes down to one thing: Cleveland isn’t like Chicago or another big city where you can walk down the street and happen upon cool things; it’s just not big enough. But it does have amazing culture and attractions,

How on earth is "The Room" not on this list?!

An Audiovox Thera in 2002! Yes, 2002! Having a Pocket PC with full internet access (albeit, SLOW) was unbelievably cool.

Those are *not* tornadoes. They are true waterspouts, which are far weaker than a tornadic waterspout and are unassociated with a severe convective storm. They can be dangerous, but are not formed via the same mechanisms, nor are they generally as strong as a waterspout that is simply a tornado over water.

That was idiotic. Sure, it shows a lot of piloting skill, but I guarantee he violated guidelines on having a stabilized approach. He should have called for a go-around at 0:18.

It would be more appropriate to say the 1DX has a max of 12 FPS. It has 14 FPS with mirror lockup and no autofocus, but has 12 FPS with no lockup and AF, which is the set of parameters the 7DII and D4s have in your comparison.

" Samsung says the camera performs much better in low-light because the lens stays open longer, allowing the sensor to capture more light. " So... they decreased shutter speed? Huh?

I'm really not trying to start anything; a lot of these are great, but regarding a few of them, if the highlights are blown or the shadows are clipped, it's not really HDR photography.

The first photo says ISO 40; I'm sure it should say 400.
