Oh sure, they're all just words, but I did try to define them so it would be clearer what I mean.

Because I think the "soulmate" phenomenon and the "lifemate" structure do not always overlap.
I'm pretty sure everyone who says "it doesn't exist" does so only because they've never felt it.
I had a soulmate. It was the most singularly transformative interpersonal experience I've ever had. It fundamentally changed what I thought human connections were capable of. As much as I wanted to deny it, acting like it…
Yeah, it's like at first he was all, "OMG my friends think it's my birthday this is hilarious, I need a video."
And then he was all, "...Waaaaaait..."
I honestly think they write these just to give us something to post to Facebook pointedly/passive-aggressively so our bridezilla friends can read it.
Mensa's not so bad. At its best, it's a place for people obsessed with boardgames who are just looking for a group of people they don't have to feel awkward around.
It's not always the haven of egotism and/or Asperger's it looks like. Often, yes. But not always. :-P

How do you even know that?
You're welcome/I'm sorry.
I tried to be strong, but I got as far as, "Yet it is males who suffer in our society. His oppression is unlike anything American women have faced."

Yeah, basically. "HAHA BRO, HERE COME THE BEHBEHS! You cannot run you cannot hide!" Maybe it's a sense of humor thing? That would get a chuckle out of me. (Unless of course it was from someone I wouldn't think was joking or something, at which point it would just be confusing.)
Ah well, different strokes. Sounds like…
Oh, I guess I'm into the gesture part of gifts as much (if not more) than the gifts themselves. If you're not, then that would explain the disconnect.
Your comment singlehandedly made my Friday. +10 internets for you.
Well, "who" is a question of identity, right?
