But it isn’t failing when the game is intentionally designed to be that way. You as the player, are supposed to learn and grow organically with the game as you progress in it. Myazaki has literally said that the game is supposed to be that way because it fuels curiosity and exploration.

That’s pretty sad if you seriously limit your own pool of logic to “This game, much like my meals, doesn’t put the food in my mouth and chews it for me when I can clearly use the utensils.” Like what? If you pause the game (ie open the menu) there’s tab that specifically shows explanations for everything in the game…

TBF, at least Mando did it right as he was trying to get Grogu back with his kind which in this case was well... The Jedi. And since Grogu was heavily connected to the force, makes sense it’d hone in on the strongest Jedi ever- Luke.

Ahhh if it’s anything like DS Remastered, then hitting the home button will likely still keep the game running in real time. I’ve tried that on PS4, PC, & Switch and they have all resulted in me dying because I had to go to the bathroom and made me lost 20,000 souls.
