Well, if it makes you feel better, I talk a good game about going to the movies, but in the end I always prefer to sit my ass at home and watch my stories unbothered by the unwashed masses.

I can't wait to do that! I think it's going to be an incredible experience. I bet there will be theaters that show it like that (or maybe I'm just hoping they will).

Man, that shit is scary. No one freaks me out quite like David Lynch.

LOL. About that….I understood the whole horse thing to be about the dark subconscious. The white is part of the eye, but you can't use it to see outside, only the dark within. Maybe that's why Sarah Palmer only saw the white mustang when she was drugged to the gills, and why Cooper only saw it in his dreams, while in

Haha! I told him it was a metaphor (or something—-still have no clue on the dog leg thing) and he seemed to accept that.

It is awesome to be able to experience it with other Lynch fans. It was torture waiting for the review to be posted last night—-I had no one to talk to about it! So….I watched it again. No regrets.

Hee, thanks! My dog is thoroughly adorable and I hate to hurt his fluffy little ears. :)

My log has something to tell you.

I feel incredibly lucky to be alive to witness it. It feels like watching a real work of art unfold before me, and all of my senses are engaged. It's genuinely thrilling. It feels like I'm part of something much bigger than a tv show.

Hahaha! I wish he could—he'd be very entertaining. He has very sensitive ears but apart from The Walking Dead, which I stopped watching because it blows and because the sounds scared my dog, DL is the only artist whose sounds command my dog's attention. I have a video of him RIVETED by Wild at Heart, and he was only

It says something about Lynch's incredible sound design that my dog is twelve kinds of alert when I watch this show. He seems to be watching with me, and reacts to the sounds constantly. He freaked out during last week's Rammstein whistling, and went so crazy during the nuke scene this week that I had to mute it.

I think we will. I have a feeling she's one of the many protectors and guides populating Dougie's world.

This show was made for creative sojourns of a solitary nature. I'm glad I'm in Colorado. :)

Agreed! Jade is the best—definitely one of my favorite new characters. It struck me as strange that in a show that features and humanizes multiple sex workers, including Laura Palmer herself, along with Ronette Polaski and Teresa Banks, people just focused on Jade as a type because she's a Black woman when they never

I'm a person of color and I find your constant diversity shit annoying and pointless. I don't go into Lynch's world expecting politically correct college-brochure faux diversity, and having that wouldn't make me appreciate his art more. We are not a monolith that needs to be pandered to like children. In fact, one of

I rewatched the episode last night and it seemed significantly shorter the second time around. I think the surprise element made it seem super long on first watch. I love how he plays with time like that.

"Baffled" seems to be your natural state, my friend.

We already got an episode with paint drying. Try to keep up, Poindexter. Show too fast for you?

Pool Man is so full of irrational rage, at this point I'm convinced we're going to find out his kid died in 'nam or some shit.

I'm always wrong about everything so don't thank me yet! :) I do love trying to solve a good abstract mystery, though, even if I'm inevitably wrong.
