why did anyone recommend this post

Final Fantasy IX and Xenoblade Chronicles. Not for any gameplay issue (although battling in IX was not enjoyable), both games were easy enough. But the stories were awful and full of terrible characters.

All I know is that this is definitely something worth caring deeply about
